Deceptive software that has been used to cheat on emissions tests was used in at least 2.1 million Audi vehicles, the luxury car from Volkswagen. The company has suspended brand managers for Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi, and German prosecutors plan to open investigation into former CEO Martin Winterkorn for his involvement in the scandal.

Volkswagen's new CEO, Matthias Mueller, is now dealing with a company that faces a diminished brand name and possibly billions of dollars in government fines.
